Die Wasserkuppe
The Wasserkuppe is the highest and also most famous mountain in the rhön with it´s 950 m above sea level.
During the summermonths the summer sleighrun is big fun for all children. Here´s also a meeting point for model flying, sky- and hang-gliding.
In the wintermonths the wasserkuppe is an attractive winter sport center.
Die Barockstadt Fulda
Visit Fulda and start your tour at the citycastle, it was build in the 18th century and is situated in the heart of the city, the baroque quarter. And many more the castel gardens, the cathedral, the orangery, many musums or make a shopping tour in the old town.
Der Kreuzberg
Or "holy mountain of the franks", 932 m above sea level.
Not only known as a sanctuary, as well the famous "Kreuzberg"-beer is popular by many "pilgrims".
At the top of Kreuzberg you find a group of crucifixion (one of the most photographed motifs in the rhön).
Enjoy the wide view and just a few steps away you can discover a great basalt block.
Bad Kissingen
Only 27 km away from Bad Brückenau, is Bad Kissingen with it´s 19th century spa resort it´s an ideal for a day trip. Discover the Kissinger spa garden with its large water fountains and small water features surrounded by magnificent flower carpets.An interesting target is the Bismarck-Museum on the upper Saline.
Fränkisches Freilandmuseum Fladungen
If you want to experience the "old" Lower Franconia, about religious life and customs experience, then you are in the Franconian Open Air Museum just right.
Museen Schloss Aschach
The castle Aschach unites three museums in a country estate. Its history goes back to a medieval castle today it offers visitors a diverse cultural program with the educational museum items and special exhibition.
Eichenzell Museum Schloss Fasanerie
About seven miles south of Fulda is surrounded by a large park, Hesse's most beautiful baroque castle. The former summer residence of the Prince Bishops of Fulda, later the Elector of Hessen, now home to major collections of furniture and interior decoration of the 18th and 19th century. Between the visit of the museum and a stroll through the park invites the Terrace Café for a comfortable stay.
Schwarzes Moor

The Black Moor is one of the most important raised bogs in Central Europe. It covers 66 hectares and is one of the 100 most beautiful geotopes Bavaria. Here on the moor are a number of rare animals and plant species which are  native to the black moor. To make as many visitors this geological rarity accessible, a plank bridge was made of about 2.2 km in length. Along the ridge 23 Imformationstafeln give interesting details of the moor. From an observation tower on the edge of the moor, the visitor can see the black mud from a different perspective.
Die Steinwand
The stone wall is the most famous rocks in the Rhön.It is located on the same village about 3 miles north of Poppenhausen (water dome).The back, a 1 km long wall to 25 m high Phonolitgestein can climb without difficulty.The front, however, is a paradise for climbers, who can exercise at levels 1-8.The stone wall Rhön sheep
